Aircraft on Fire at Fullerton Airport

A small twin-engine aircraft has crashed at Fullerton Municipal Airport in Fullerton, California, according to scanner traffic and media reports.
Several fire and emergency crews have rushed to the scene, and are reporting that the aircraft is fully on fire. A large explosion was heard in the neighborhood, according to ABC 7.
NBC LA reports that the plane is a twin-engine aircraft and KCAL says that it is a Beechcraft Duke plane. The fire has reportedly completely destroyed the plane, which caught fire as it hit the ground.
The plane was reportedly heading to Utah.

In a tweet posted on Thursday night, Fullerton police confirmed the crash and asked that people avoid the area. The FAA has also confirmed the incident.

Three Chinese airlines claim 737 MAX compensation from Boeing

The three main Chinese airlines, China Southern, China Eastern, and Air China, have sent a formal request to Boeing for compensation for the cost of grounding their 737 MAX and the postponements of deliveries. The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) was the first to order the country’s airlines to suspend Boeing 737 MAX 8 commercial operations following Ethiopian Airlines crash. On March 13, 2019, three days after Ethiopian Airlines crash, Norwegian Air Shuttle was the first affected company to publicly consider compensation. Lasse Sandaker-Nielsen, a spokesperson for the low-cost carrier told  e24.no  that it would claim compensation from the plane manufacturer: "We will send the full bill to Boeing. Norwegian should not be penalized economically because a totally new plane cannot fly”.

Max Air Boeing 747 Comes Off Runway In Nigeria

On September 7th, a Max Air Boeing 747-400 flying as flight NR2092 from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Minna, Nigeria suffered an engine failure on approach to Minna. The crew continued its landing, however, according to  the Aviation Herald , the aircraft went off the runway and came to a stop off there. The aircraft sustained minor damage in the incident but there were no passenger or crew injuries reported. According to Airfleets, Max Air has only one active 747.
